There is a duality within us that is caused by the struggles and stresses of the world around us. It is day-to-day life that can often over shadow and cause conflict with who we think we are and how, we in turn, influence and affect others. It is this duality - the internal conflict between ourselves and our external influences - that is the inspiration and driving force behind my work.

My mission is to create a comprehensive and accessible experience for the viewer that establishes a relatable link between his or her own personal experiences, their emotional responses to the world around them and the experience he or she is having with my work. The mission incorporates creating an opportunity for the viewer to recognize how he or she is influenced by external sources and facilitate reflection on how his or her own personal conflicts and struggles affect who they are and how they influence and affect those around them.
